1. Introduction

You will be able to access most areas of this Website without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this Website are only open to you if you register.

We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting. You may wish to check this Website from time to time to review the terms and conditions. If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions after we have given notice, you should not continue to use this Website.

2. Ordering from Us and Delivery Information

Orders placed on this website can only be delivered in Jersey. If you wish order for overseas delivery, please telephone our office and one of our team will gladly assist you. 

You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered. You may also order by phone on +44 (1534) 742649.  All goods must be paid for either by credit / debit card at time of ordering. All goods remain the property of JSSK until paid for in full.

Our acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order. When we despatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

We may refuse to accept an order:
      (a) where goods are not available;
      (b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
      (c) if there has been a pricing or product description error; or
      (d) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Information on the site detailing stock levels should not be viewed as a guarantee of availability, and is a guide only.  We will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.  If products are subsequently found to be unavailable once an order has been placed, you will be informed via email or telephone as soon as your order is processed by one of our staff. We will always endeavour to offer an alternative.

Delivery Charges

We do not charge for delivery to any participating schools or for goods to be collected from in store. For all orders delivered to a home or business address in Jersey you will incur a £5.00 delivery charge. Orders made outside of the channel islands may require a greater delivery charge. Please call or email for a postal quote if goods are to be posted outside of Jersey.

Delivery times

Products ordered on the website before 10am Tuesday or Thursday will be despatched and delivered the same working week day within Jersey, unless notified of any delay by e-mail or telephone.  If your order is placed on a Saturday, Sunday or a Bank Holiday, it will be processed the next working day for delivery the following day. Orders delivered outside of the Island will be dispatched the following working week day and are reliant on the postal service used for delivery. 

3. Cancellation and Returns Policy (Exchange or Refund)

If you wish to cancel your order:
      (a) you can notify us by email to orders@jssk.co.uk  before we have dispatched the goods to you; or
      (b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with the clause below.

We endeavour to make sure the products you order arrive in perfect condition. If this is not the case, you may return it to us in its original condition if it is Faulty or damaged or Not what was advertised or matching the description. Due to our closure in May 2024 we no longer accept returns for Unwanted goods. 

The right to return the goods to us as referred to the clause above will not apply in the event that a product has been used and not in a re-sellable condition;

How and when refunds are processed
Refunds are processed once we have received and processed the returned product/s and we will issue a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 5 to 7 business days of our receiving your return.

How refunds are calculated 
Full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and the refund will only be authorised after a full inspection of the goods by ourselves to check for completeness and correct product return. Please note: All special order products (products which state over 10 day’s delivery time) are non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights.

4. Licence

You are permitted to print and download extracts from this Website for your own use on the following basis:
      (a) no documents or related graphics on this Website are modified in any way;
      (b) no graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text;      

Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Website (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by us or our licensors. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, any use of extracts from this Website other than in accordance with the clause above for any purpose is prohibited. 

Subject to the clause above no part of this Website may be reproduced or stored in any other website or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service without our prior written permission.

Any rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

5. Visitor Material and Conduct

Other than personally identifiable information, which is covered under the Privacy Policy, any material you transmit or post to this Website will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. We will have no obligations with respect to such material. We and our nominees will be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use such material and all data, images, sounds, text and other things embodied therein for any and all commercial or non- commercial purposes.

You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from this Website any material:
      (a) that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory,  menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience;

Each registration is for a single user only. We do not permit you to share your username and password with any other person nor with multiple users on a network.

We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these terms and conditions.

We do not collect any payment card account deatils as they are not made available to us. Our service providor will use the information you provide to process your payment. Please refer to the terms and conditions of the relevent survice for further details.

JSSK also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from their company and its affiliates.
